Lorraine is a lumbar pillow cover in a fabric woven after vintage French grain sacks: a beige ground with clusters of deep indigo stripes repeating along the length of the cover. It's an upholstery-weight cotton blend, with natural slubs that give it the uneven, vintage texture of the originals. Each cover is handmade in Brooklyn, NY.
It pairs with white bedding, natural linen, and other blues, and works as well on a bench or sofa as it does on a bed. Choose a cream cotton back, or the same striped fabric front and back.

"This pillow is so nice I thought I underpaid.
Having been a celebrity interior designer for twenty-eight years, the feel, which we call the hand of the fabric is extremely important.
The quality of the fabric and the workmanship is above anything you see today."
